Sadly the hair industry displays many discriminatory practices within salons, barbershops, retail stores, and schools. These issues have been the foundation of our industry for too long. We felt in order to make a change it was time we openly discussed the existence of “hair segregation” and provide opportunities for professionals to be trained in all hair textures.
