This Curlology pop up experience is designed to bridge the gap between technique and real salon execution.

This experience is rooted in Curlology curl alignment and axis based education, supporting a more intentional, efficient, and elevated service flow. The goal is to create work that feels more aligned, more consistent, and more impactful for both the stylist and the guest.

Laquita Rose | Curlologist & Educator | Curly Color and Blonding
Owner of Freedom Curls Salon, Laquita Rose is an award-winning Curlologist and educator, recognized for her work in curly color and blonding and featured in Forbes. She is known for her signature approach to dimensional color, intentional placement, and enhancing the natural movement of the hair. As a Curlologist, her mission is to help stylists and clients embrace texture through thoughtful design, using color to support shape, create balance, and bring curls to life with depth and clarity.

Scott Cooper | Curlologist & Educator| Curly Styling and Cutting
Founder of BBCURLS™️, Scott Cooper is an international Curlologist and educator with over 35 years of experience. He is known for his intuitive approach to cutting and styling, guiding stylists to understand the “why” behind their work while building shape and movement with intention. His work is deeply rooted in addressing the generational trauma surrounding textured hair, creating space for education that is inclusive, empowering, and grounded in care. As a Curlologist, his mission is to shift perspective, helping stylists see, understand, and serve all textures with confidence and purpose.

Look & Learn Experience

9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Both Days)

This is an immersive educational experience designed to help you see and understand how curl services flow in a real salon environment.

You will experience live model work , with in-depth breakdowns of consultation, curl assessment, cutting, styling, and color decisions. The focus is on helping you think through each service with clarity, intention, and efficiency.

Hands-On Experience

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Both Days)

This is a full immersion experience designed for application, refinement, and transformation behind the chair.

You will participate in both the Look & Learn sessions and hands-on training, working closely with the educators to apply what you’ve learned, strengthen your decision-making, and refine your execution through direct coaching.
